Some Features of the Site:

Product Pages - More than 20,000 products listed. You can't find the product you're looking for? Just [add it], list its features and then compare it using comparison matrices

Navigation Bar - Gives you the ability to know exactly where a product or a resource is located, and brings the ease of browsing for them by simply going step by step upwards in the hierarchy. In other words it helps you better find what you need, other than using search

Search - We have enabled the global search. Whether you're looking for products or product classes, you can get a full list to meet your interests by filling up a single input field.

Advanced Filtering - a way to narrow down exactly what you're looking for. You can filter by Operating System, licenses, prices, vendors, language and some other attributes

Cool reviews - a new homepage with cool reviews section. Have your picture in the list by rating favorite products. And why not, give bad reviews too?

User pages - wiki pages, icons. Make your page look nice. Link to your blog. If you don't have a picture you're proud of, we have one for you, and it's all jelly and blue

Mashup - now we have a way to import and sync with online sources and feeds. We've started with some data from Debian on the Debian packages. If you have some feeds that would be valuable to the site, please contact us!

Feature List for each Class of Products - Each main class has its own set of standard features. They are editable so if you think something is missing go ahead and add it

Comparison Matrices - Each set of features can be used in order to compare products in that class. The link is [Comparison matrix] on the home page of the class or [Compare product] in one of the product pages

Wiki Pages - Each class in the directory and each product listed will have its own Wikipage. You can use it to add screen shots, detailed descriptions, features or even to ask for advice. Just click [Wikipage] on the upper right of class and product pages

Best of Class - Now products best rated in their class get extra-recognition - hope your favorite product gets one of these little winning cups!

Debtags - Tags for debian packages (tags are small labels attached to packages) that will contain your ratings. These tags will be visible as third party tags in debtags. More info here: http://debtags.alioth.debian.org

Packaged In - An attribute in the product description page which enables to list the Linux distributions in which the product has been packaged, and the alias that was used.
